My claim was denied. What can I do?

Claim denials happen for a variety of reasons, and many can be overturned on appeal. Common reasons for denial include:

  • Missing or incorrect information on the claim
  • The service is not covered under your specific plan
  • The claim was submitted after your plan’s filing deadline
  • The provider’s NPI could not be verified
  • The OON deductible has not yet been met (note: the claim still counts toward your deductible).

If your claim is denied, check the denial reason on your EOB and contact us at support@MySuperbills.com. We will review the claim and advise whether it can be corrected and resubmitted.
